Fully automatic labeling machine for Petri dishes
An example of our special machine construction is our PDL model series for labeling Petri dishes. In the system, filled and sealed Petri dishes are provided with a serialized DMC label in the minimum tolerance range at a speed of 130 products/min. Thanks to the ideal interaction of mechanical engineering, label material and thermal transfer printer, we have succeeded in doing this to the complete satisfaction of our international customers. The Petri dishes are fed to the labeling system from the upstream filling and sealing system.
Using a star wheel, the system transports the products through the various stations such as labelling, reprinting unit and DMC inspection, in which the grading (quality control) of the data matrix code takes place at the same time. If the quality of the barcode is not sufficient, the product is rejected.
By using our label dispenser RAPID SM, the most accurate labeling device available on the market, we guarantee an accuracy of +-0.2 mm at a labeling speed of 60 m/min with consistent product quality. Here, the signals are switched directly to the stepper motor card developed by us without any detours.

In addition to our labeling systems, we also supply consumables such as gamma-irradiated adhesive labels and thermal transfer foils to achieve perfect labeling results.
